Fair warning...the world here is a combination of Legend and
Zelda 2, with some of Zelda 3 and Zelda 64 thrown in. The forth Zelda is
only used for some of the history, however, since I haven't had a chance
at that game until recently.(The backstory to that game can be found on
Nintendo's official web site if
you look hard enough for the official Zelda
website, which is my main reference for that game. I also used a faq
made from a pre-release copy for some info when I began this, and
I just discovered I got some stuff wrong! [Jon didn't get Zelda 64 and
a N64 until recently...so sue me]) Well with 3...I really borrowed elements
from that one! Telepathy, the Golden Land...you name it.
Don't worry if you
don't see Link right away...he doesn't come in until later ;-) .
Oh yes, I know about
the little translation gaffe with the Zora (you know...Zora in the later
games, Zola in the first few--Brother, is it that hard to tell a
l from a r in Japanese?) It's explained here as a language shift, but don't
bug me about it since I know full well how it REALLY came to be.
I had quite a bit of trouble figuring out what to call this. One tenative title was What Goes Around...(which is reflected in the original file name, which was whatgoes.htm(I added a number after goes in subsquent chapters)[In case it gets changed]) I finally settled on the one shown, which is Roundabout and Turnabout, which I think fits better.
I hope I did better than the comics(the ones I DID see didn't stick too close to what happened in the games either) and those darn Captain N episodes...enjoy!
